Mikel is a video game development artist born in Bilbao. His passion for games began in the NES era and grew alongside the rise of 3D gaming, sparking a lasting fascination with virtual worlds and interactive experiences. Leveraging a background in dynamic drawing and computer graphics, he redirected his career toward game development, enrolling in Digital Arts at DigiPen Institute of Technology. Over four years, he honed his capturing motion skills, blending artistic sensibility with cutting-edge technology while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and pipelines. He graduated with a BFA in Video Game Animation and now combines artistic judgment with technical execution to design and build engaging, robust real-time animation systems.
